Preparing for Easter
Listen to the voices of women, who on Holy Saturday are waiting and pondering what it all means. They are women who have been present in Jesus’ life and do not understand fully what is happening, as they are waiting for God to act. Sharing their stories are the woman taken in adultery; Martha; Mary of Bethany; the Samaritan woman at the well; Veronica; and the woman with the haemorrhage.
"It was only us left in the end."
You are invited to spend some time to listen, wait and reflect on our own powerlessness before preparing for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The six stories are written by Fr James Harvey SJ, Master of Campion Hall, University of Oxford.
