Friday 27 March Pope Francis will give an extraordinary blessing

In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Pope Francis will give his Urbi et Orbi blessing to the city of Rome and to the world.

The formal blessing is usually given only immediately after a new pope is elected and on Christmas and Easter.

 This will take place at 6pm (Rome time). You can catch this on Saturday at 6am streamed here.
