Support Life Sunday - Tautokona te Ratapu Whakaora 2024
Infinite Dignity - every person matters ... always! He mea nui te ora o ngā tāngata katoa ... i ngā wā katoa! The theme for this Day of Prayer for Life on 13 October (28th Sunday of Ordinary Time) draws on the Declaration Dignitas Infinita - On Human Dignity (April 2024) which addresses a range of contemporary moral and social issues. This Vatican document highlights how human dignity can be violated including abortion, euthanasia, surrogate motherhood, war, poverty and human trafficking.
"... every human person possesses an infinite dignity, inalienably grounded in his or her very being, which prevails in and beyond every circumstance, state, or situation the person may ever encounter." Dignitas Infinita - On Human Dignity
