The Conclave Begins

On Wednesday, 7 May, Cardinal John Dew, together with the Cardinal Electors enter the Sistine Chapel in solemn procession. Their task is a momentous one: to choose the Successor of Peter, our new Pastor Pastorum,  “Shepherd of Shepherds”.

Cardinal John has invited the Catholics of Aotearoa New Zealand to join with him in calling upon the Communion of Saints (the holy men and women of God) to be with the Cardinal in Conclave.
